Neil Folkes and Quinn Prince formed Technical Systems in April 1991 as a partnership.
Up until this time they both worked for Reece Machinery Company for 14 and 13 years respectively.
In early 1991 the Reece Company was purchased by AMF clothing machine section, which formulated the name AMF Reece, then closed the Reece head office in London and all the branches moving all their operations to Leeds.
Recognising the opportunity the pair got together to form Technical Systems. Technical Systems not only provided good localised service for the London Customers, they also provided employment for a number a highly skilled engineers.
In 1993 the company was incorporated and became Technical Systems UK Ltd.
Technical Systems have progressed from being predominantly servicing company dealing with automated sewing to being a highly respected manufacturing company, the transition period was very challenging, but they are proud of our achievements, they now have a full range of bagging machine suitable for the garment manufacturers, laundry industry and the garment processing business.
Technical Systems are now the only UK manufacturers with this range of machines.
Technical Systems secured prestigious agencies such as Durkopp Adler, SAC and eventually the agency for AMF Reece.( this is the company they were made redundant from)
The company’s strong points are listening to our customers needs and working with them to achieve their maximum productivity, also investing in training and making sure a close eye is kept on new technology.
As well as there own products Technical Systems represent some of the leading machine manufacturers supplying automated sewing equipment.
In service they pride themselves on providing a backup service second to none.
They carry a large stock of spare parts available by post and via their parts window.
Technical Systems also run a rental business to allow easy access to new start up Companies and provide the flexibility needed by the more established firms.
Design and development work
Technical Systems are committed to the provisions of specialist solutions to specific Problems.
From minor modifications, to a full building program, we also take on design and development work, and have built automated equipment from companies inside and outside our main industry.

Technical systems have a service team with the capability of dealing with, Hydraulic Pneumatic, Electronic and Computer controlled systems.
